In the state of Florida, title insurance rates are implemented by the Florida Department of Insurance and authorized by the Florida Administrative Code Chapter 4-186 and Section 627.7825 of the Florida Statutes.

$5.75 per $1,000 up to $100,000
$5.00 per $1,000 over $100,000 up to $1,000,000
$2.50 per $1,000 over $1,000,000 up to $5,000,000
$2.25 per $1,000 over $5,000,000 up to $10,000,000
All lenders require a borrower to purchase a loan policy which is simultaneously issued with the owner’s policy. The premium for the policy is $25 plus the cost of any required endorsements.

Recording fees – 1st page $10.00, each additional page is $8.50
Document tax stamps on the deed – $.70 per $100 based on the sale price
Document tax stamps on the mortgage – $.35 per $100 based on the mortgage amount
Intangible tax on the mortgage – $.20 per $100 based on the mortgage amount
